Batman Arkham Origins Multiplayer Impressions

The trend lately in multiplayer gaming has reached even the critically acclaimed Batman Arkham series that seemed to surprise everyone with it’s sudden popularity and excellent quality. It should come as no surprise that Arkham Origins developer, Splash Damage, has added a multiplayer component.

Gotham isn’t a city anymore, it’s a battleground, and whoever controls the most turf is going to rule this whole town.

Here’s what we know:

A match of “Invisible Predator” is divided up into 8 players

• 3 players are Joker’s henchmen
• 3 players are Bane’s henchmen
• 2 players are Batman and Robin

The match is essentially 3 vs 3 vs 2.

No doubt Batman and Robin have superior health, gadgets and moves due to the fact that they are outnumbered, but how strong are they? Will they be overpowered? I guess we’ll have to find out. For now, I’ve got these screenshots and a trailer for you.
